Fanuc S Series Servo Amplifiers A06B-6058

The A06B-6058-H range of the Fanuc Servo Amplifiers are commonly known as the Fanuc S Series Servo Amplifiers. Most are housed in the Yellow plastic cases apart from the odd few which use the anodized metal cases. Available in Single, Twin and Triple axis variants.

HV and LV Alarm.
Usually a Top Card related fault 6058 Fanuc Servo Drive
It is worth checking the input voltages going into the drive.
Input A,1 and 2 is the 200VAC input.
Input 3 and 4 is the 100VAC input.
Also, there are DC Volt test pins on the top card to check the relevant voltages.

HC Alarm.
Drive Fault,
With an HC Alarm sometime’s you can find the fault occurs because of error’s on the base and or the top card.
Check Motor cables are correct UVW into  5,6,7.
Check Motor is ok

DC Alarm.
Can be caused by,
S2 setting incorrect  (see below for settings)
Discharge unit connected incorrect or faulty
A fault in the base of the drive

OH Alarm.
S1 Setting incorrect (see below for settings)
A fault in the base of the drive
Top Card fault
The thermostat of the drive or separate discharge unit faulty
The thermostat in the motor is faulty
The connection of a discharge unit

If using a separate discharge unit remove the shorting bar from T2 at the top of the drive and connect the cable from the discharge unit into terminals 4 and 6. If using the internal resistor for discharge make sure the shorting bar is connected between terminals 4 and 5.

S1 H The external thermostat is NOY connected to T4 or CN2
S2 H If separate discharge unit in use
S2 L If NO separate discharge unit in use
